Hi, I'm Ari, and I'm so glad you're here.
Yoga has been part of my life for over ten years, but I didn't become a teacher because I could do impressive poses or because I believed yoga was about perfect flexibility.
I became a teacher because yoga helped me to feel safe in my body again when life changed completely.
Six years ago, after a traumatic event, I developed migraine disease. Over time, it became chronic. Living with an invisible illness transformed every part of my life. I experienced the grief of losing the person I once was, the frustration of hearing well-meaning advice that didn't fit my reality, and the challenge of learning how to work with my body instead of constantly fighting against it.
Again and again, I was told, "Have you tried yoga?" While often said with good intentions, it usually felt dismissive. As if a complex neurological condition could simply be stretched away.
But here's the thing: yoga wasn't the cure. Yoga became a tool.
It helped me regulate my nervous system, reconnect with my breath, soften the fear that chronic illness can create, and find moments of calm in the middle of uncertainty. It taught me that healing isn't about fixing ourselves but it's about learning how to support ourselves with compassion.
That experience shapes every class I teach.
My approach
I believe yoga should adapt to you and not the other way around.
Whether you're living with chronic pain, migraine, recovering from illness, feeling burnt out, or simply stepping onto a yoga mat for the very first time, you'll never be expected to "keep up."
My classes are gentle, accessible and tailored to your body, your energy levels and your goals. Some days that may look like movement. Other days it may simply be breathing, resting or learning how to feel safe in your body again.
There is no pressure to perform. Only space to arrive exactly as you are.
My training
I have completed over 400 hours of specialist yoga training, including:
200-hour Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training
85-hour Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training
40-hour Accessible Yoga
40-hour Yin Yoga
20-hour Yoga for Neurological Conditions
Alongside yoga, I also integrate sound, meditation and Reiki where appropriate, creating sessions that support both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Why work with me?
Because I understand what it's like when your body doesn't behave the way you wish it would.
I know what it's like to cancel plans because of pain, to feel exhausted by well-meaning advice, and to wonder whether movement is even possible on difficult days.
I don't promise miracles.
I don't believe yoga cures chronic illness.
What I do offer is a safe, supportive space where you can explore movement without judgement, calm your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and discover practices that genuinely fit your life.
If you're looking for a teacher who values compassion over perfection, curiosity over performance, and meeting you exactly where you are, I'd love to welcome you to my classes.
